CIS 479 Neural Network Evaluation
                       Spring 1998

     For this assignment, you will need to work with the 
Neural Solutions neural network construction tool. You are 
to write a 3 to 5 page report evaluating this product after 
completing the activities described below. You may do your 
evaluation research with 1 or 2 lab partners. 


  1. Run one or two of the Neural Solutions demonstration 
     programs (from the product Help menu).

  2. Work through the Signal Generator tutorial (from the 
     Neural Solutions Help index).

  3. Work through the Combination of Data Sources tutorial
     (from the Neural Solutions Help index).


     Your product evaluation report should contain: a list 
of the criteria used to evaluate the product, the platform 
required (hardware and software) to be usable, the major 
features of the tool, and any product bugs discovered. Your 
report is due July 1st.
