CIS 479 Oral Presentation
                      Winter 1999

                   
    Your final exam grade will consist of two parts: an 
individual oral presentation on a topic approved by me (60%) 
and a short exam (40%).

    You may present with a partner on a topic that is 
sufficiently large enough to warrant two people working 
together. However, both people must contribute equally to 
the oral presentation and each partner will be graded 
separately. I have made some suggestions below. You may 
choose something else. You must submit your proposal to me 
(in written form) for my approval no later than March 24th.


  Write web page(s) on a topic not covered in class   
  Demonstration of AI tool not covered in class
  Significant extension of your game project
  Research AI topic receiving little or no coverage in class
  Intelligent agents
  Intelligent database mining
  Embedded Expert Systems
  Embedded Neural Networks


     Oral project presentations (5 to 10 minutes) will take 
place during our last class period (4/19/99) or on the study 
day (4/20/99) at a time mutually agreed upon. You are 
expected to make appropriate use of AV materials (posters, 
demonstration, power point, transparencies, handouts, etc.) 
during your presentation. Your presentation outline and AV 
materials are due no later than Friday, April 23rd.
