This Hangman game allows you to guess a word or symbol, one letter or symbol at a time. You are initially presented with a word pattern where each letter or symbol of the word to be guessed is represented by an underscore ( _ ) character. This tells you how many letters or symbols are in the word, but nothing more. When you guess a letter that is in the word, the underscore representing that letter or symbol is replaced by the letter or symbol you guessed correctly. This tells you that you've guessed the correct letter or symbol and shows you where the letter or symbol appears in the word. You continue to guess until you run out of guesses or you guess all of the letters or symbols of the word.
